Matt Heyd
Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii
Bachelor’s in Movement and Sports Science
CSCS
TREO Sports & Fitness Sports Performance Trainer
Matt has had a passion for sports/fitness for most of his life. He played basketball all through high school and college. In 2009, Jason was introduced to Matt through a mutual friend. After interning with us for a few months, Jason and I knew that if we were smart we’d keep in touch with him while he finished school in California. He joined our team officially in June of 2011 and it has been incredible! Matt’s knowledge extends well beyond his degrees and certifications due to the incredible amount of time he spends reading, researching and learning. He loves being able to make a positive change in people’s lives whether it be looking or feeling better or performing better in a specific sport. He seems pretty chill and laid back, but he’s no-nonsense when it comes to work outs!
Mandy Hellinger
Orchard Park, NY
NASM CPT
Although she danced since age 3, Mandy’s love for fitness and health became stronger in College when she started working out at a gym and found other ways of staying in shape besides dance! Mandy started attending Boot camp @ TREO where her passion for fitness grew even further and she decided to study for and achieve her CPT through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Mandy had just the personality and positive attitude we were looking for in a Fitness professional.
She loves working with people and feels that the best satisfaction is helping someone stay in shape and/or meet their weight loss goals. She loves the excitement someone feels when they have reached a goal as well as the energy you feel from the ladies at boot camp. She’s ready to kick it up a notch with a big smile on her face!
Tabitha Tabak
Orchard Park
NASM CPT
Tabitha was born and raised in WNY and has always maintained a healthy and active lifestyle. She played softball growing up and danced all through high school. Since she works full time at a recruiting agency counseling people through changes in their professional life, it seemed natural for her to combine her talent for coaching and counseling with her passion and love for fitness.
Tabitha ran her first half marathon in January of 2011 and has plans to run a full in the near future. She is a hard worker and loves intense strength training. She believes that anyone can achieve their goals, as long as you have the confidence to believe in yourself. She loves watching and helping others build that confidence and accomplish things they never thought possible… She’s the kind of person that just jumps before even asking how high, and inspires others to do the same!
